Career Coaching

First there was the “Great Resignation”…then “Quiet Quitting”…now many are caught in the “Great Exhaustion”.

BUT you don’t have to get stuck here!

Renaissance Woman Consulting has multiple options to support your next step. I specialize in people who are seeking to change industries but are struggling to translate their skill set and unique qualifications for potential employers, as well as those seeking to collaborate across industries and disciplines.

One-on-one Career Coaching

Work directly with me to get support for your specific needs. Potential topics we’ll cover include resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, networking and exploring new industries. You’ll learn to use my VAST Technique© to strategically translate your skills and personal qualities to market yourself in a new field.

Note, if you’re looking for someone to simply write your resume or cover letter for you, this option is not for you. I strongly believe in the importance of providing clients strategies on how to do this work for themselves (that whole “teach a person to fish vs giving them a meal” concept).

Clients schedule two, 1-hour virtual sessions initially and can add additional meetings as needed.

Initial 2-session package: $195

Additional 1-hour sessions: $100/session

Comments from past attendees

  • I’ve seen quite a few LinkedIn sessions before but very few that go beyond “101,” so I really appreciated the deep-dive!
  • Thank you for a great session… I am always looking for new ways to connect with people, given that the majority of my job has been done in the pandemic, and your advice was wonderful.

“How TV News Pros Can Land a Remote Job” Live, Interactive Workshop (1 hour)

Remote work is extremely popular and highly competitive. You need to stand out and one powerful way is to highlight your experience in TV news. But there’s a problem…the person looking at your cover letter and resume most likely has no clue what working in the TV news business is really like.

In this workshop, you will practice translating your TV news experience into language that will highlight why you would thrive in a remote position. We’ll discuss:

  • How to incorporate your experiences in TV into your cover letter
  • How to prepare responses for commonly asked questions during a job interview

You’ll leave with new confidence in your ability to tell your unique story AND some of that story already written (so bring something to write with or have a device you can type on nearby).

This session will address the skill sets of all TV news staff who participate, including reporters/MMJ, anchors, meteorologists, sports journalists, producers, editors and photographers.
