One-on-One Career Coaching

Work directly with me to get support for your specific needs. Potential topics we’ll cover include resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, networking and exploring new industries. You’ll learn to use my VAST Technique© to strategically translate your skills and personal qualities to confidently market yourself in a new field.

Note, if you’re looking for someone to simply write your resume or cover letter for you, this option is not for you. I strongly believe in the importance of providing clients strategies on how to do this work for themselves (that whole “teach a person to fish vs giving them a meal” concept).

Clients schedule two, 1-hour virtual sessions initially and can add additional meetings as needed.

Initial 2-session package: $210

Additional 1-hour sessions: $110/session

Find Your Golden Thread

If updating your LinkedIn profile – particularly the dreaded “About” section – has been on your “to do” list for way too long, this is for you!

As a Renaissance Person, you’re complex and you’re busy. And it’s HARD to help others understand why you do so many different things.

Sometimes you need an outside perspective to truly see yourself, and I’m here to help.

Together, we’ll reflect on the essence of your multi-passionate soul and find the golden thread that weaves throughout your journey to today. We’ll dig into why you do what you do.

Armed with this knowledge, you will be prepared to rewrite your LinkedIn “About” section with language you can reuse any time you need a bio (or simply need to introduce yourself). We’ll also update other LinkedIn profile features to make sure it accurately reflects where you’ve been, who you are now, and where you want to go.

1-hour Strategy Session plus follow-up feedback: $75

Comments from past career coaching clients

  • I had the pleasure of working with Sara Kobilka during my job search, and I cannot recommend her enough as a career coach! One of the most impactful tools she introduced me to was the VAST (Verb, Adjective Strategic Translation) Technique she created. This technique gave me clarity and confidence by breaking down job descriptions and aligning my resume and cover letter efficiently.
